(wiki-special opens inside Downtown City Motor Speedway on Saturday morning, outside Libby's hauler, with Sheen, Libby, Carl, Misty, Ash, Brock, Timmy, Bubbles, Johnny 2X4, and Wilt eating breakfast)
Sheen: *sniffs and sighs* I LOVE the smell of a new racetrack in the morning! It's raceday, baby!
Carl: Actually, it's raceday for US, Sheen.
Sheen: What?! Is this some kind of trap we've been lured in?! Get me my attorney!!!!
Timmy: No, Sheen, we have FINAL PRACTICE today, you know, Happy Hour?! OUR race is TOMORROW! We're in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series, and they're in the NASCAR Busch Series. Our Happy Hour session takes place before their race.
Bubbles: Timmy Bear's right, Sheen. You, me, and Timmy are in the Winston Cup Series, and these Busch Series drivers are working their way up TO the NASCAR Winston Cup Series.
Libby: Yeah, Sheen baby. I don't know why you're blubberin' about today not being a Winston Cup Series race, when really the Winston Cup Series is TOMORROW on Sunday. (foreshadowing the "2000 Littlest Pet Shop 500 Fantasy Edition" wiki)
Johnny: Hmmmm.... Plank says, "You don't wanna be "Sappy Sour tomorrow, Sheen!". Good one, Plank.
Ash: *after he took a sip of his ice-cold PEPSI* It's a good thing you, Bubbles and Sheen came over today. We really appreciate it. It's not that often we race at the same city and track with you guys.
Timmy: The pleasure's all ours, Ash.
Misty: *sad sigh* I really can't believe Eddwin Marion's gone. It's been a month and 4 days since his fatal crash in Citysville.
Jazz (sadly): Awwww.... you're right, Misty. I couldn't believe we lost Edwin too soon. He was a GREAT driver and a GREAT teammate. *scene fades into Jazz's dream of Eddwin's fatal crash at Citysville*
Buddy Baker (TNN): Vicky's comin' on the low side right now off Turn #4, as they come down to the line with 2 laps to go--!
Dick Berggren WHOA--!
Eli Gold (TNN): TROUBLE! INTO THE QUAD-OVAL! Vicky The Babysitter and Edwin Marion collide right at the start/finish line!
Dick Berggren (TNN): Whoa, man! This doesn't look good!
Buddy Baker (TNN): Edwin Marion in the #2 AcDelco Chevrolet really took a HUGE lick! *scene fades back to Downtown City Motor Speedway*
Jazz: Well... at least he's looking after his younger brother, Double-D and the rest of Team Fastex.
Wilt: And look on the bright side, earlier this month, Edd DID win in Texas in loving memory of him. (in reference to the"2000 KWIK-E-MART 500 Fantasy Edition" wiki) Now that is A-OK! (gives a thumbs up)
Timmy: I know, Wilt. Eddwin was SO CLOSE to Edd. He'd never let his brother and/or his team down.
Ash: So, um Timmy, you and Bubbles getting pumped up for your Winston Cup Series race tomorrow?
Timmy: You bet! Me and Bubbles are ALWAYS pumped up for Winston Cup Series races, ESPECIALLY trying out new places to race! Plus, me and Bubbles wish all you Busch Series drivers out on that track today.
Sheen: I wish I'd race today instead of tomorrow! I mustn't miss the Ultra Lord Marathon tomorrow!
Carl: Sheen, you have a DVR! You can watch it anytime! I use it at home during races to watch "Llamapalooza".
Sheen: Oh, yeah, that's right.
Johnny: What's that Plank? Plank says you look up to Ultra-Lord as constant as water runs through streams, Sheen. *chuckles* good one, buddy!
Sheen: *groans* *scene cuts to "NASCAR Winston Cup Series Happy Hour"*
Eli Gold (TNN): It has been a magnificent day here in Downtown City, one of the newest cities for stock-car racing! The NASCAR Winston Cup Series races tomorrow afternoon after a full session of Happy Hour today. But as of now, the NASCAR Busch Series is in town, ready to tackle this new racing facility for 150 laps! Hi, folks, I'm Eli Gold along with former NASCAR Champion and race analyst, Buddy Baker, and race analyst, Dick Berggren. Guys, this new racing facility will really give these new Busch Series drivers a chance to tackle a 2-mile D-shaped oval.
Buddy Baker (TNN): You're right, Eli. These new Busch Series drivers will know what it's like to tackle a 2-mile oval after runnin' the first 10-15 laps today, and mark my words, they'll soon know what it's like to run 4-5 wide at a non restrictor-plate track.
Dick Berggren (TNN): You're right, Buddy. This new D-shaped oval would be the PERFECT place for these new guys to adapt to these 2-mile tracks, because they'll have to know this if they wanna move on to the NASCAR Winston Cup Series.
Eli Gold (TNN): Eddward Marion was first fastest in Happy Hour today, and immediately he knows how to tackle a 2-mile oval. Eddward has really started to become one of the most popular inspirations for Team Fastex.
Buddy Baker (TNN): Indeed, Eli. This kid has been more dominant in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series ever since the death of his brother, Edwin Marion last month. "Double-D" really wanted to honor his deceased brother, his family name, and Team Fastex so much, well he's provin' his much-needed dominance so far in the Winston Cup Series, and I bet his brother must be smilin' at him right now.
Eli Gold (TNN): Getting back to NASCAR Busch Series, Ash Ketchum really showed HIS dominance after winning last Saturday at Talladega. This kid from Japan really has true talent behind the wheel of a stock-car.
Dick Berggren (TNN): Right, Eli. Ash Ketchum had been racking up Top-10 finishes in the first few races, especially grabbing his 3rd career win last week at Talladega. So far, he won Daytona, Las Vegas, and Talladega. Hopefully, he can grab his 4th career Busch Series win right here in Downtown City.
Buddy Baker (TNN): Trust me, guys. If Ash Ketchum wins today, that might prove that he's NASCAR Winston Cup Series potential as his career goes on.
Eli Gold (TNN): The NASCAR Winston Cup Series have practiced for tomorrow's race, now it's the Busch Series' turn to tackle the track for 150 laps here in the Downtown City Motor Speedway! Let's go trackside to get the command to start the engines!
Track P.A Announcer: And now for the most famous words in motorsports, please welcome your grand marshal, from Downtown City, Roger Baxter! *crowd cheers EXTREMELY loudly*
Roger Baxter: In honor of "The Littlest Pet Shop", and everyone here in Downtown City... Gentlemen, start your engines!!!! *crowd cheers LOUDLY*
[engines start and rev loudly, in unison to the HYSTERICALLY cheering crowd]
Barney Hall (MRN Radio): We have about one more warm-up lap before we go green in today's Downtown City 300. So let's take a quick swing 'round the racetrack. We have 2 brand-new voices in the MRN Radio crew that will call the action of many races, MOSTLY in this division of NASCAR. One of the 2 brand new voices of MRN Radio will be covering the action in Turn #1, and that is Woody The Cowboy.
Woody (MRN Radio): Oh, thank you! Oh, thank you, thank you thank you, thank you! My name is Woody and it has always been my dream to commentate a race. Until, us toys were allowed to interact with living people and creatures and such, we had to keep a motionless state around them. Thankfully, Jimmy Neutron, who is a friend of Busch Series drivers, Carl Wheezer and Libby Folfax, discovered we were alive when my owner, Andy Davis forgot to bring me inside one day when he was playing outside with me and Jimmy Neutron upon witnessing my actions, approached me peacefully. Eventually, using his shrink ray was able to bring me to human size so I could fulfill my dream. *chuckles* Anyway, I'm positioned on an elevated platform on top of a billboard in Turn #2 where I will be proudly be calling the action today. Turns 1 & 2 here are like Michigan International Speedway where you can go 3-4 wide, but in this new racetrack, make one mistake in these corners, and you will end up in trouble and crash. When they pass my station, they will travel down this long backstretch, and then into Turns 3 & 4, where my buddy, the "Intergalactic Warrior", Buzz Lightyear will call the action! Give it away, Buzz!
Buzz Lightyear (MRN Radio): *chuckles* Thanks, Woody! I'm Buzz Lightyear and I'm also proud to be a part of the MRN Radio crew along with my pal, Woody, and we would always watch NASCAR races with our owner, Andy. It looked fascinating to drive, but commenting on a race is just as exhilarating. And if good sportsmanship is anything like my space ranger code, everyone will play fair and not resort to the idea of revenge. *chuckle* So anyway, I'm also on an elevated platform on a billboard, but in the middle of Turns 3 & 4. The drivers MUST BE CAREFUL when they dive down into Turn #3. A lot of 3-4 wide racing will take place in these corners as well as Turns 1 & 2 where my pal Woody is positioned. If any drivers makes a mistake here, ESPECIALLY on the last lap, their chance at victory today will be quashed. I'd be proud to cover the action on the backstretch, and Turns 3 & 4 for you all. *audio switches to TNN Sports*
Eli Gold (TNN): We're glad you're all sharing the day with us on TNN Sports as the pace-car now leads the field To Turn #4. *crowd cheering loudly is suddenly heard* This new Downtown City Motor Speedway will witness it's very first NASCAR Winston Cup Series race tomorrow afternoon (in reference to the "2000 Littlest Pet Shop 500 Fantasy Edition" wiki), but today, the NASCAR Busch Series is in town! *crowd cheers louder as the pace-car pulls into the pits* The pace-car has pulled off the racetrack and we are just about set to go in the Downtown City 300! Carl Wheezer and Butch Rowdyruff will lead the field down to the green flag *cars accelerate to take the green flag waved by Blythe Baxter, in unison to the HYSTERICALLY cheering crowd* and now Downtown City's own, Blythe Baxter waves it! The Downtown City 300 is underway!
Allen Bestwick (MRN Radio): The drivers of the NASCAR Winston Cup Series race here tomorrow for 250 laps (in reference to the "2000 Littlest Pet Shop 500 Fantasy Edition" wiki), but first, the NASCAR Busch Series will have their turn at tackling this new racing facility! The pace-car has pulled into pit-road, and Carl Wheezer and Butch Rowdyruff will lead the field down for the start of the Downtown City 300!
Barney Hall (MRN Radio): They come down to the line, green flag goes in the air and we are underway in the Downtown City 300. As they race into the corner, nobody gets out single-file. They're door-to-door in Turn #1.
Woody (MRN Radio): Fastex and REXCOR, side-by-side are leading the way for the 1st time in Turn #1! Now, Fastex comes out in front, it is Carl Wheezer who will lead the way by the time they get to Turn #2! Butch Rowdyruff's in 2nd, Vicky The Babysitter's in 3rd, Ash Ketchum's in 4th, and there on-back, they're stacked up double-wide!
Buzz Lightyear (MRN Radio): The field starts to string out in the Top 5 cars! It is still Carl Wheezer showing the way! Butch Rowdyruff's right on his back-bumper! Now Vicky The Babysitter takes a brief look to the inside, now she tucks back in line! Ash Ketchum's holding down the 4th position! Joey Wheeler is 5th! The field barrels off Turn #4!
Allen Bestwick (MRN Radio): All of the cars are checking up on the outside lane in the middle of the corner, jamming up traffic just a little bit, but everyone comes off Turn #4 okay! First lap around, it is Carl Wheezer who leads! Here's Vicky The Babysitter looking low underneath Butch Rowdyruff, trying to pick up the 2nd spot!
Woody (MRN Radio): Racing hard down to the inside, Vicky The Babysitter opens up the lane! She takes over the 2nd position! Ash Ketchum comes by as well, and will move to 3rd, dropping Butch Rowdyruff back to the 4th position! Now in the challenge for 5th, it's Wilt Michaels on the move! He's trying to get underneath Joey Wheeler off Turn #2!
Buzz Lightyear (MRN Radio): Wilt Michaels took a brief look on the inside, now tucks back in line! As back in the battle for 6th, it fans out 3-wide! Terrence Kazoo's making a move to the inside in Turn #3! He pulls up alongside Wilt Michaels! Kazoo has to check up as Michaels tried to close the door, but now he sticks his nose back inside Wilt's #7 BAND AID Chevrolet! They're side-by-side off Turn #4!
Barney Hall (MRN Radio): Terrence kept the car to the bottom of the racetrack. They're still racing door-to-door, and that will be for the 7th position. Meanwhile at the front of the field, Vicky The Babysitter is tryin' to check out, and Ash Ketchum's tryin' to take over 2nd place.
Woody (MRN Radio): Ash Ketchum moves to the inside and picks up 2nd place! This time, he'll bring along Butch Rowdyruff, and they both get by Carl Wheezer! Up front, the race leader is Vicky The Babysitter! Ash Ketchum's hunting her down for the lead as they exit Turn #2!
Buzz Lightyear (MRN Radio): Vicky The Babysitter in the #50 Dr. Pepper Chevrolet leads the field down the backstretch at a bit of 190 miles per-hour! Ash Ketchum is right there on her bumper, riding the tire-tracks of Vicky The Babysitter! Butch Rowdyruff came out of line for just a bit, thought better of it, now tucks back into line! Carl Wheezer's holding onto 4th! Joey Wheeler remains in the 5th position!
Allen Bestwick (MRN Radio): Running behind Joey Wheeler in 5th is Wilt Michaels in 6th, Terrence Kazoo's in 7th, 8th is Butch Rowdyruff, in the 9th position is Boomer Rowdyruff. Side-by-side for 10th, Tea Gardner's looking down to the inside of Katara Waterbender in a whole line of traffic, trying to fill up the bottom side under Katara!
Woody (MRN Radio): Tea Gardner got a good run coming into the first corner! She's gonna pick up the position coming into Turn #2! So Katara falls back in line, and immediately she sees a challenge! To the inside of her comes Robin Snyder! She's got drafting help from Nazz Van Bartonschmeer Dean!
Buzz Lightyear (MRN Radio): Here they come! Bartonschmeer Dean and Snyder are helping each other down the backstretch! Although Snyder had to weave a little bit, she's trying to shake Bartonschmeer Dean, can't she can't do it there! They're double-wide in Turn #3! Anti-Cosmo's to the outside of Robin Snyder! This is a battle for behind 10th place as Snyder, Anti-Cosmo, and Bartonschmeer now make it 3-wide off the 4th corner!
